Shipping policy
What is a pre-order?
- Occasionally, our stock sells out before reaching our fulfillment center for the next batch. In such cases, we offer products for pre-order before their arrival. The expected stock arrival date is indicated in parentheses next to the product name. Assuming the stock arrives on schedule, all orders will then be shipped out to customers on that specified date.
How does shipping and delivery operate?
- Upon order placement, our team meticulously collects and packages your items. Please allow up to 72 hours for us to pick and pack your order. Orders are dispatched only when all items are ready, including pre-order items, which means we wait until the latest item is available before dispatching the order.
- You can anticipate delivery within two (2) to eight (8) business days (within Australia). Various delivery methods may be employed based on the order type. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. Don't worry if there are no scan events within the initial 24 hours; the system may take some time to update.
- Delivery timing depends on stock availability. If an item has a specified "sent" date beside it in brackets, it implies it's a pre-sale purchase, and you'll receive it within two (2) to eight (8) business days (within Australia) from this "sent" date, provided the stock arrives as expected.
- If your order doesn't arrive within eight (8) business days (within Australia), please contact us at oceanrebuild@gmail.com to follow up with the courier. We ensure delivery by requiring a signature upon arrival. If you opt for "leave in a safe place," we relinquish responsibility for the package. If you're unavailable to sign, the parcel will be redirected to the nearest courier depot, and you're responsible for collection or re-delivery charges.
- *Please note: If you purchase both a pre-sale item and an in-stock item in the same order, both will be dispatched once all stock is available.
How do I track my order?
- Exciting news – your order is en route! Upon handing it to the courier, we'll send a shipping confirmation email with a 'Track Order' button leading to live tracking updates.
- Haven't received the shipping confirmation yet? Your order might be on pre-order, as indicated at the time of purchase. Check your original order confirmation; you'll get the shipping confirmation on the pre-order date.
What is insured shipping?
- Despite our best efforts, occasional mishaps occur. If your package encounters a delivery issue, we can launch an inquiry. With insured shipping, if your item is confirmed lost or stolen, we'll promptly send a replacement. Without insurance, we can't guarantee a replacement for stolen items.
Help, I think my order is lost/not delivered?
- Concerned about a lost order? Although delivery typically takes two (2) to eight (8) business days (within Australia), delays happen. If your item hasn't arrived within ten (10) business days, contact us at oceanrebuild@gmail.com to initiate an investigation.
- *Please note: Once handed to our courier, any delivery issues are beyond our control; we'll do our best to resolve them swiftly.
Can I change my shipping address?
- Need to update your shipping address? If your order hasn't shipped, email us at oceanrebuild@gmail.com with the new details and your order number.
- *Please note: We can only ship to the address provided on your order; double-check it to avoid delivery issues!
Do you ship internationally?
- Although we are based in Australia, our products are cherished worldwide!
- We offer shipping to most countries where delivery typically takes six (6) to twenty (20) business days.
- We have warehouses both in Australia and in Shen Zhen China to minimise delivery times and our carbon footprint.

Is your shipping eco-friendly?
- While we strive to minimize our carbon footprint, it's important to note that some of our shipments may not yet be entirely carbon neutral. However, we are actively collaborating with our courier partners to advance towards this goal, especially for global shipping.
- We take pride in using 100% compostable and recyclable packaging for our products. However, for international shipments, the shipping labels may not be compostable.
- On the other hand, if you're located in Australia, rest assured that we dispatch items from our warehouse here, utilising compostable shipping labels whenever possible.
What is your returns policy?
- We offer free returns within 30 days of order delivery/receipt. However, not all items are eligible for return; exclusions are indicated on product pages or at checkout. To qualify for a return:
- Initiate the return and ship the item(s) within 30 days of order delivery.
- Items not marked "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at purchase, unless faulty.
- Return items in original packaging and 'as new' condition, including tags and specialty packaging.
- Provide a photo of the item(s) before shipping for assessment.
